I visited BSW Beauty alone today to pick up some beauty supplies for my girlfriend, and I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service I received. As a man in a beauty store, I initially felt a bit out of place, but the staff at BSW Beauty quickly made me feel welcome and comfortable. Despite being alone and unsure of what exactly to purchase, they were incredibly helpful and patient with me. One worker, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me in finding the right products for my girlfriend. They took the time to understand her preferences and needs, offering valuable recommendations and advice along the way. The selection of beauty products at BSW Beauty is impressive, and I was able to find everything I needed with their assistance. From nail supplies to hair care products, they have a wide range of options to choose from. But what truly stood out to me was the level of customer service provided. Despite being alone in the store, I never felt judged or ignored. The staff made me feel valued and supported throughout my shopping experience. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by my experience at BSW Beauty. The 5-star customer service made all the difference, and I left feeling confident in my purchases. I highly recommend BSW Beauty to anyone in need of quality beauty products and exceptional service.

Overpriced. Lacking customer service. Cashier rang up an additional item that did not belong to a customer. The manager refused to give the customer a refund. Offered her a store credit because their system is not set up to issue refunds. Crazy! It was not the customer's fault. Find a way to make things right. I can't shop at places that do business that way!

False advertisement cause online it states that location closes at 8pm and I arrived at 7:45pm and doors was locked. Guy came to door stating the registers are closed and that they aren’t taking any more customers meanwhile customers are still in the store and I say to the guy I thought the store closes at 8pm & he says no we close at 7:45pm. On top of that he was just rude and said you should’ve came earlier. Very unwelcoming and I will not be revisiting this location.

my sister and i love this store! if you’re from the area you know so many other businesses like best buy, radio shack and blockbuster has been in its place over the years and now we finally have a good beauty supply. my sister and i have gone several times and spent at least $200 in total. there’s a whole variety of things in this store, whether you’re a hair stylist, a natural or even relaxed girl, this store is for you. they have things that i would usually have to get online because other beauty supplies wouldn’t have them. the workers are normally black girls who know a lot about hair care and wigs so they’ll definitely help with anything you need or have questions about. highly recommend if you’re from the uptown bx area!

Staff has little knowledge of inventory, and the manager has confusing policies about touching display wigs. He states you can touch them to try them on, but can not touch them while on display. He claims this so he does not have to sell them to his custmers for a discount. Although the inventory is large, this is not worth the hassle.

I've been a customer here since it has opened and I have never had an unpleasant experience other than this one. I was with a friend when I arrived and the door was locked. I read online that they close at 8pm prior to showing up and I arrived at around 7:40pm so I was confused as to why the door was locked. A male employee was by the door so we tried to ask him what time they close, but he walked away. When we knocked on the door to get his attention he came back and addressed us, but it was difficult to hear him over the door, our masks, and the loud parking lot. He proceeded to speak through the closed door until he was forced to open it to let a customer out. As he pushed the door open and my friend caught the door to let the customer through. After the customer walked through, the employee was attempting to pull the door shut while my friend was in the doorway, so the door ended up hitting my friend on the arm. My friend and I told the employee that what he was doing was very rude and that we just wanted to know what time they close since online it said 8. He responded shouting "7:45, What don't you understand?". After that, a woman who we assumed to be another customer leaving approached the door so we moved out of the way so that she can exit the store. Turns out, she too was an employee and as we moved out of the way she took hold of the door and closed it right in our faces. Again, we expressed that this was very rude so she rolled her eyes, said "alright", and opened the door to tell us that they do close at 8pm but they take the last customer at 7:45pm. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and with how my friend and I were being treated here. That is truly no way to treat a customer, not even just a customer but a person. My friend and I will no longer shop here and support this business after being treated so terribly by not one, but two employees here.
